Was ist Liebe und was bedeutet sie für dich?
Wir sind auf der Suche nach Liebesgeschichten. Egal ob romantisch, traurig, erfüllend oder herzzerreißend. Auch deine Gedanken und Zugänge zur Liebe interessieren uns. Wir möchten gerne Interviews mit Menschen verschiedenen Alters führen, die sich im weiten Feld des Queerseins verorten. Wir suchen deine Geschichte!
Was passiert mit den Interviews?
Kurze Zitate aus den Interviews sollen gemeinsam mit weiteren Texten in einem Buch veröffentlicht werden, das im Juni 2025 im Verlag edition mono erscheint. Aufbauend auf diesen Interviews wird daraus die Theaterperformance “Love Me Tender, Love Me Queer” entwickelt, die im Februar 2026 im WUK performing arts in Wien zu sehen sein wird.
Wie kann ich mir die Interviews und die Weiterverwendung vorstellen?
Die Interviews sollen im Jänner und Februar 2025 stattfinden. Wir suchen Menschen jeden Alters, die in Wien leben. Du kannst anonym bleiben, ein Pseudonym verwenden oder mit vollständigen Namen genannt werden. Für uns ist es jedoch wichtig, dass wir dein Alter zum Zeitpunkt des Interviews angeben dürfen.
Die Interviews führen Marie-Christin Rissinger (*1986 | keine Pronomen) und/oder Frida Robles (*1985 | sie/ihr) und können auf Deutsch oder Englisch stattfinden. Wir treffen uns gerne persönlich mit dir, aber auch ein Gespräch über Zoom ist denkbar. Das Interview dauert ca. eine Stunde. Der Ton wird aufgezeichnet. Es werden jedoch lediglich die Transkripte des Interviews, nicht der gesprochene Text, für die weitere Arbeit verwendet.
Über das Projekt
“Love Me Tender, Love Me Queer” ist ein Mehrgenerationenprojekt der Künstler*innengruppe Blind Date Collaboration, das aus einem Theaterstück und einer Publikation besteht. Im Fokus steht die politische Bedeutung von Geschlecht, Identität und Liebe im Kontext gesellschaftlicher Wahrnehmung und Normen.

Blind Date Collaboration ist eine offene Künstler*innengruppe, die sich durch interdisziplinäre Zugänge mit sozialen Fragen beschäftigt. Die Arbeiten von BDC waren in den letzten Jahren im Theater, im öffentlichen Raum und auf der Leinwand zu sehen.

What is love and what does love mean to you?
We are looking for love stories. Whether romantic, sad, fulfilling or heartbreaking. We are also curious about your thoughts and approaches towards love. We would like to conduct interviews with people of different ages who position themselves in the broad field of being queer. We are looking for your story!
What is happening with the interviews?
Short quotes from the interviews will be published together with other texts in a book that will be launched by edition mono in June 2025. Based on these interviews, the theater performance “Love Me Tender, Love Me Queer” will be developed, which will be staged at WUK performing arts in February 2026.
How can I imagine the interviews and their further use?
The interviews will take place in January and February 2025. We are looking for people of all ages based in Vienna. You can remain anonymous, use a pseudonym or be referred to by your full name. However, it is important for us that we are allowed to disclose your age at the time of the interview.
The interviews will be conducted by Marie-Christin Rissinger (*1986 | they/them) and/or Frida Robles (*1985 | she/her) and can take place in German or English. We would be happy to meet with you in person, but a conversation via Zoom is also possible. The interview will last approximately one hour. The audio will be recorded. Only the transcripts of the interview, not the spoken text, will be used further.
About the project
“Love Me Tender, Love Me Queer” is a multi-generational project by the artist group Blind Date Collaboration, consisting of a play and a publication focussing on the politics of gender, identity and love in connection to social norms and perceptions.
About us
Blind Date Collaboration is an open group addressing social issues through an artistic and interdisciplinary approach. Lately we realized theater projects, art projects in public space as well as installations.
